Pied-à-Terre
melds the traditional music of Ireland, Scotland, Quebec, and
Appalachia with world-music rhythm grooves. Fiddle, button accordion
and Scottish small pipes do their traditional thing along with
fretless bass, guitars, keyboards, and African percussion. Jigs
and reels and a little juju and funk as well. Pied-à-Terre
plays for dances throughout the Northwest and ventures further
afield to play for festivals and dance camps. We in the band are:

Rob
Barrick: bass, Scottish small pipes, & percussion
Fran
Slefer: button accordion, piano, & fiddle
Dan
Compton: fiddle & guitar
