4 December 2009: Lisa Ornstein & Dan Compton play music of Quebec, Appalachia & Southeast Portland in a house concert at the home of Scott and Kristin Killops. We start playing at 7:30. Tickets are $15; for reservations call 503-252-0603 or e-mail Scott.
18 December 2009: Dan plays a set of solo fingerstyle guitar music at Artichoke Music's coffeehouse concert series. 9 pm.
19 December 2009: Mick Doherty, Dan Compton, and Fran Slefer play the Third Saturday Contradance in Portland with caller . Dance starts at 8, with a beginners' teaching session at 7:30. Fulton Park Community Center, 68 SW Miles St. Admission is $8/$6 students.
15 January 2010: Lisa O. & Dan C. play at the Portland Old-Time Music Gathering's Friday night concert gala. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door - but it usually sells out before it comes to that. The Gathering is one of Portland's best institutions, and you should be there regardless...
16 January 2010: Jigsaw play the Third Saturday Contradance in Portland with caller Sue Baker from Hood River. Dance starts at 8, with a beginners' teaching session at 7:30. Fulton Park Community Center, 68 SW Miles St. Admission is $8/$6 students.
