Upcoming Dates

The new year is here, the days are getting longer. We're out and about around the Northwest, so come on out and hear us.

26 January 2012: Lisa Ornstein & Dan Compton play a two-hour set at the Grant House in Vancouver, WA. We play from 6 to 8 pm. The Grant House is at 1101 Officers' Row, Vancouver. It's a rather elegant room, with a nice selection from the bar.

18 February 2012: Fran and Dan join fiddler Matt Hummell for the monthly dance on Lopez Island, Washington. The venue is Lopez Center for the Arts, 204 Village Rd Lopez Island, WA. We start at 7pm.

29 February 2012: Mark Roberts & Dan Compton play for a house concert at Abbie's place in SE Portland. We'll be playing selections from Mark's great CD, The Gloup, as well as stuff from a forthcoming Mark and Dan album that you should expect to see later this year. 1 March 2012: Mark & Dan play at Brad's Swingside Cafe, 4212 Fremont Ave. N. in Seattle, WA. We play at 7. The food is insanely divine.

3 March 2012: Mark & Dan play more Gloup music in a house concert at Julie Derby's in Seattle. For reservations and directions, e-mail Julia at juliaderby@me.com.

4 March 2012: Mark & Dan play at the Skagit River Brewery, 404 S. Third Street in Mt. Vernon, WA.

17 March 2012: The BFD (Betsy Branch, Fran & Dan) play for the Third Saturday Contradance in Portland with caller Woody Lane. Dance starts at 8, with a beginners' teaching session at 7:30. Fulton Park Community Center, 68 SW Miles St. Admission is $8/$6 students.
